Who Is Taking Your Tradeshow
Promotional Items and Brochures?

Promotional items and brochures are two of the most significant costs companies incur when exhibiting at a tradeshow.

Much of this money is wasted on meaningless promotional items and brochures that nobody really wants.

But did you know that 75% of all brochures and handouts never make it out of the exhibit hall and that 50% of what makes it to the attendee’s hotel room doesn’t make it back to the office?

When was the last time you actually bought a golf umbrella, a ballpoint pen, or a letter opener? Why should you buy them when you can go to any tradeshow and get them for free?

How many of the visitors who came to your booth, came for the freebies? How many of the brochures and handouts went to your competitors rather than to qualified buyers?

There is are two groups of people I call "Tradeshow Moochers" and “Tradeshow Garbage Collectors.” These are the people who go to every booth to get the “give-aways”, brochures, food, or to participate in “fish bowl” drawings.

Moochers and Garbage Collectors are not interested in you, your company or your products and services; they are drawn to your booth only because they want your “stuff”.

Moochers and Garbage Collectors not only take your promotional items and brochures, but they use up valuable time from you that you could use talking with qualified prospects.
