Use Tradeshows to Introduce New Products

The introduction of new products and services is a major reasons why companies exhibit at tradeshows.

When I was the World-wide Manager of Image Technology and Business Development for a huge multi-national company, we exhibited our high-speed image technology at tradeshows all over the world.

This was because we wanted to make our current customers aware of what new products we were developing and to demonstrate to prospective customers our commitment to the development of leading edge technology.

In the beginning we had to rely on conceptual presentation of the technology. As we progressed, we displayed both hardware and software prototypes. Finally, we took actual working equipment and software to the tradeshows.

Many companies use industry gatherings to make product announcements because they know that they will get the maximum exposure to their target audience in the quickest amount of time.

Tradeshow attendees report that one of the Top 10 reasons they attend tradeshows is to find out about new products and services in their industry.
